Basadi Nation Foundation

As a business, we care passionately about the communities in which we live in. We channel the talent, commitment and passion of our employees, members and broader Basadi Nation family to bring dignified, positive, meaningful change for areas in need.

Founded in 2017 by the esteemed Honorary Figure Lebohang Botsane of Basadi Nation, the Basadi Nation Foundation serves as the compassionate and charitable arm of our organization. Our primary goal is to support the less fortunate by generating essential funds through thoughtful entrepreneurship, innovative events, and partnerships with charitable organizations.

We aspire to raise a significant amount of R300 million to benefit at least 10 valued charity partners. One of our notable ongoing initiatives, the Basadi Nation Empowerment Fund, is dedicated to combating food waste and food poverty in Africa.

In addition to these impactful endeavors, The Foundation curates an inventive calendar of annual charitable events. These include the beloved GoGo Fun event, the Basadi Nation Forum, the glamorous Basadi Nation Confidence MasterClass, and the engaging Basadi Nation Greatest Quiz, all proudly presented by Basadi Nation Media Group.

Furthermore, our team of philanthropic specialists develops meaningful one-off campaigns, such as Afro Day Hair, a daring celebration of ancient hairstyles in honor of the inspiring legacy left by Our late African Queens and esteemed travelers. This campaign aims to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of women today who continue to follow in their footsteps.

At Basadi Nation Foundation, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need, and we are deeply grateful for the continued support of our generous partners and community. Together, we believe we can create a brighter and more equitable future for all. For further information visit www.basadinationfoundation.org
